Prairie Spirit School Division - Board Strategic Plan on Literacy, Numeracy, Engagement, Communication and Community Connections. Priority 1 Goal, Goal 1 is Literacy. Every student is literate to their full potential. Students, with support from their classroom teacher, will establish and achieve their own literacy goals in reading and writing. Priority 1 Goal, Goal 2 is Numeracy. Every student is numerate to their full potential. The Board will support numeracy programs and resources in order to develop skills that enable students success. Priority 1 Goal, Goal 3 is Engagement. The Board will support an inclusive culture that prioritizes student wellness and connections focusing on attendance. Priority 2 Goals, Goal 1 is to Communicate with the public about the role of the School Board and its priorities. Priority 2 Goals, Goal 2 is to Build Connections with local Indigenous communities.

Please note that there will not be a July PSSD Board meeting in 2024. The first summer Prairie Spirit Board Meeting will take place August 20th, 2024 at 6:30pm.

Prairie Spirit School Division aims to attract and retain French Teachers for our Immersion and Français programs. In conjunction with the Federal and Provincial Governments, this pilot project will provide opportunities for reimbursement of tuition for students, and provide French teachers for Prairie Spirit classrooms.
